Last weekend, I had the pleasure of dining at Afi Steaks & Platters in Muthiga, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience. As a steak lover, I was eager to explore their renowned menu. Arriving around 6 PM, the atmosphere was vibrant yet welcoming, making it a perfect setting for a hearty meal.
Upon entering, I was greeted with warmth from the staff. One particular waiter, Irene Masinde, stood out with her friendly demeanor and attentive service. She ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our visit, which only elevated the overall experience.
As I browsed the menu, I knew I had to try their famous premium steak. I opted for a perfectly grilled ribeye that was cooked to medium-rare, just as I like it. The flavors were incredible, each bite melting in my mouth, showcasing their commitment to quality ingredients and expert preparation.
Alongside my steak, I also shared a seafood platter with my dining partner. This generous serving came with a delightful selection of grilled prawns, calamari, and fish, all beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The presentation was as impressive as the taste, making it a feast for the eyes and the palate!
Throughout our meal, we noticed that while the service was prompt, there were moments when some tables seemed to be waiting longer for service. However, the wonderful food and atmosphere more than made up for any minor delays. It was clear that even a slightly packed venue didn't diminish the quality of service and food present at Afi Steaks & Platters.
For dessert, I couldn't resist the passion breeze, which Irene recommended. It was the perfect sweet end to a delicious meal, refreshing and light, providing just the right balance after our hearty dishes.
