Delightful Experience at Papparoti Brasserie in Nairobi

As I stepped into Papparoti Brasserie located at Broadwalk Mall, Ojijo Road, Nairobi, Kenya, I was immediately struck by the warm ambience that enveloped me. I visited the café on a Saturday afternoon, eager to indulge in their renowned coffee-caramel-coated buns that have made them a global sensation since 2003.

Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly staff, particularly our server, Pilkington Mungai, whose welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. It was evident from the reviews I had read that his service stood out, and indeed it did! He was attentive yet not intrusive, a perfect balance for an enjoyable dining experience.

I ordered the signature Pulled Chicken Bun, priced at KES 350. The moment I took my first bite, my taste buds were treated to a delightful fusion of fluffy bread and savory chicken that was both fresh and packed with flavor. The unique combination of coffee and caramel that coated the bun was a luxurious touch that complemented the dish perfectly.

While savoring my meal, I noticed the café bustling with activity, each table filled with families and groups enjoying their time. The vibrant atmosphere was amplified by the scent of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. I couldn't resist ordering a mojito, which was a refreshing addition to my meal. Priced at KES 500, it was sweet and expertly crafted, making it a perfect palate cleanser.

Another dish that caught my attention was the Khasai, which I heard several guests raving about. One couple sitting at the next table described it as "exceptional" and expressed their intentions to return to the café again. It was clear from their enthusiasm that this was a must-try for first-time visitors.

As I enjoyed my meal, I felt the genuine hospitality radiating from the staff. The other customers who visited that day echoed my sentiments about the service. Phrases like "customer service is top-notch" and "the staff are lovely and friendly" filled the air, reinforcing the exceptional experience we were all sharing. Pilkington, in particular, was highlighted in multiple reviews, with patrons praising his warmth and attentiveness.

Before leaving, I couldn't help but indulge in a dessert—a coffee caramel bun priced at KES 250. It was the perfect finale to my visit, with the sweet yet slightly bitter notes wrapping up my meal beautifully.

Overall, my experience at Papparoti Brasserie was nothing short of amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service provided by Pilkington truly made the visit memorable. If you find yourself in Nairobi, I highly recommend stopping by this unique café at Broadwalk Mall for an unforgettable taste adventure.
